How can we tell we’re doing our jobs right? The smiles on people’s faces. The full and enriched lives. The way our residents fill spaces in our hearts normally reserved for relatives.

DuMolin Community Living is committed to providing residential care to the developmentally disabled community at a level of service that exemplifies respect, friendship, personal development, cleanliness, trustworthiness, compassion and love — as we would have our own family members treated if they were in our care.
Part of that is committing to doing things with our clients, and not for them. Active treatment is a critical part of our core philosophy, as we believe leading our clients to be more independent in their own lives, and assisting them along their journey is key.

Community
We actively foster a feeling of fellowship — for residents and staff alike — through pool parties, holiday festivities, birthday parties, group outings, dances, and supporting residents in community art exhibits.
Social Change
We cast our gaze outward, too — promoting financial longevity, teaching social awareness, and being an example of change. Our company-wide philosophy is simple: be a part of the solution.
